Time

  • Calculate the number of seconds in a minute, hour and day, explore the number of hours, minutes, days in 100 years. Find out how long it takes to print the newspaper and work it out in terms of:

  • Papers per hour

  • Papers per minute

  • Papers per day etc

  • Using the tv guide in The Sunday Times convert program times using twenty-four hours clock.

  • Calculate the average number of stories about school-age children appearing in the newspaper for 10 consecutive editions.

Determine the time difference between a number of other cities around the World. Use a newspaper to select the cities.
